ANOTHER LAUREL FOR DPS SHARJAH

Another jewel was added to the grand gamut of award collection at DPS Sharjah when NAVYA PUTTA from Grade 12 became the proud recipient of the SHARJAH AWARD OF EXCELLENCE FOR DISTINGUISHED STUDENT 2010 instituted by the Sharjah Zone for Excellence in Academics and Extra curricular activities.

Navya was honoured by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah at a ceremony held at Sharjah University on 5 May 2010.

Navya is well known as adept and talented at various activities and as a well-rounded personality who has several accolades to her credit.

Significantly last year, Navya had won the prestigious SHEIKH HAMDAN AWARD for DISTINGUISHED ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE for the academic year 2009-2010.

Navya currently leads DPS Sharjah in the capacity of Head girl of the school.

This significant achievement by Navya Putta makes this award a stupendous victory for DPS Sharjah which recently made a milestone achievement of winning nine SHEIKH HAMDAN AWARDS at one go.
